Could you foster a dog or a cat?

Posted in Branch News and Updates, Special Appeals.

We are urgently seeking foster carers for branch animals in need of extra TLC.   This may be for 2 or 3 weeks or even months depending on needs.

Families with older children, couples or single people who are home based are needed.   Any animals in the family must be friendly and accepting of the fostered dog or cat and should be neutered and vaccinated.

For Cats,  a home with no more than 3 family cats and one which is escape proof is essential as a fostered cat should kept indoors whilst in foster care.

For dogs a home on a quiet street or lane and one with a secure garden or yard is needed  Fostered dogs should always be walked on a lead especially in unsecured areas to prevent escape/loss.
