Volunteer Dog Walkers – No vacancies at present

No vacancies at present – we have had to limit the number of walkers we recruit as our dogs are in private boarding with RSPCA Bury and Oldham branch, and a Wilmslow boarding kennels.   Those needing extra care and socialisation are often placed in the homes of our volunteer fosterers until caring new families are found.  If you would like to find out more about the role of fostering for the RSPCA please email the branch. Or simply download – Fostering Information and our volunteering  application form (pdf)

The dogs in our kennels don’t benefit from the regular human contact and socialisation of being in foster and need caring people to visit them, take them for regular walks, play time and generally some TLC.

We really do need volunteers to help Mondays to Fridays as most of our dog walkers are weekend walkers due to the paid work commitments. It really doesn’t matter how little time you can spare (daily, weekly, monthly) we will be so grateful to have more walkers on board.  Please send an email for application form and more information.
