Teddy – Rehomed

[singlepic id=6623 w=320 h=240 float=left]This large, gentle, greyhound will turn heads with his shiny black and white looks wherever he goes.

Teddy is five years old and an ex-racer who has been retired as his trainer was reducing the number of dogs he had in his kennels.  Teddy is a lovely sedate boy who is great with other dogs and as he was kenneled with a female greyhound in the trainer’s establishment he will be fine to be rehomed to a family looking for a friend for themselves and their current canine.  In fact, Teddy gets on really well with Maisie our small sized cross staffie who adores him as you can see from his photos below

Teddy is settling into life in the boarding kennels we use, and even after his first night in such unaccustomed luxury our dog walkers reported that he seemed much happier and his tail was going round in a circle, when he greeted his new friends!

Teddy is now looking for a caring family where he can spend the rest of his days lazing about on a sofa and going for a walk with people who love him.  Like most ex-racers, Teddy is a sprinter not a marathon runner and will do very well with a couple of half hour walks each day, although he will manage more if his adopters want to increase his exercise to suit their lifestyle.
