Stolen Irish Bassetts

Posted in Branch News and Updates, Lost and Found Pets, Special Appeals | Comments Off
stolen-bassetts-2 We received the following email from a very worried family:

“Our beautiful family pet Basset Hounds were stolen from our back garden in Adare, Limerick, on December 23rd. Many pets that are stolen in Ireland end up in the UK as the chips are never registered with a UK database. Their pics are circulating around facebook so you may have have seen the posts, but I want to keep the images circulating in the hope that they surface. I’ve registered the chips with fido, petlog and pettrac, but I want to also spread the word, and in the case you hear of anything, you could possibly contact me. Spreading the word is probably the best method.  Both are male, tri-colour Bassets. One is neutered, while the other isn’t and they’re approx 1.5 years old.  If found contact the branch or email: dunworth.denis@gmail.com”

Found – Tabby Boy in Stretford

Posted in Branch News and Updates, Lost and Found Pets | Comments Off
foundtabbycatstretford

Message from his finders:

This lovely boy started living in our garden, in Stretford area, Manchester. He is an older cat, roughly around 10-15 years old. He must have recently (within the last 4-6 weeks) had a car accident as his claws are trimmed to the bone.
Very hungry and underweight – so he must be missing from home for a while. He is not microchipped and had no collar when we found him. Very friendly and neutered, he is used to being in a car and loves attention.

Do you know him – or his family?

If so please get in touch with us as he needs to be reunited with his family.
Contact number: 0791-3350768 (please leave a message with your contact number if his finders are not available).
