This little cat has been found by an elderly couple in Top Mossley and was scanned for a microchip by one of our volunteers but unfortunately she couldn’t find one. However, thanks to social media, her owner has come forward and this little cat is 18 years old and had only wandered from her home which was only 4 doors away from her finders’ house.

“Our beautiful family pet Basset Hounds were stolen from our back garden in Adare, Limerick, on December 23rd. Many pets that are stolen in Ireland end up in the UK as the chips are never registered with a UK database. Their pics are circulating around facebook so you may have have seen the posts, but I want to keep the images circulating in the hope that they surface. I’ve registered the chips with fido, petlog and pettrac, but I want to also spread the word, and in the case you hear of anything, you could possibly contact me. Spreading the word is probably the best method. Both are male, tri-colour Bassets. One is neutered, while the other isn’t and they’re approx 1.5 years old. If found contact the branch or email: firstname.lastname@example.org”
